Cindy

I`m bilingual (English and German, with strong French) with an MA in English Literature and a (large) minor in Mathematics (1st) from University of Bern Switzerland. I also hold a BA Acting and Contemporary Theatre (1st) from East15/University of Essex.

In terms of other work experience, in addition to my acting work, I work as a freelance translator. I am a member of Early Bird Speakers, a Toastmasters International club, where I was VP Membership for the past year - so I have a lot of experience in organisation and presentation skills.

Availability: To be discussed. Relatively flexible.
I`m based in Plaistow and happy to travel up to 30 minutes by public transport along the District, Jubilee, or Central line. Potentially further if it lies along my other travel routes.

Willing to travel: 4 miles

Experience: I have experience tutoring Maths through all levels from primary to undergrad level; using various systems, including Edexcel and AQA.

My philosophy is playful and understanding-based learning with a focus on confidence building. If one approach doesn`t work to explain/understand a problem, we will work together to try another one, until we find what works for you/your child.

I`m bilingual and happy to tutor maths in both English and German.
