Having spent my earlier years in both the military and in the construction industry I obtained my degree and Qualified teacher status later in life(42) and therefore I have been teaching Physics both GCSE and A-Level for the past 8 Years.

Experience: I have spent the first 7 years working as a specialist teacher of physics in a couple of Secondary schools teaching all key stages. I have also worked for the institute of physics for 2 years as a school based development coach (helping to develop and improve the teaching practices of many teacher across the Wolverhampton region).
I have now moved to a Further Education college where I specialise in A-Level physics, I am also an examiner for physics for AQA and have been since I started teaching. This has given me insight into the examination process which is helping to inform my practice.
