Experience: I am a qualified Psychology teacher with 15 years` experience teaching A Level at a leading FE college in Cheshire. I have a proven track record developing and implementing teaching and learning resources to deliver challenging, supportive and rewarding learning sessions where my aim is to raise each student`s achievements beyond his/her expectations. I am currently developing learning resources to incorporate augmented reality in the classroom providing engaging content and interaction for learners. For example, by triggering an image of a neuron, biopsychology comes to life through video, opening up a whole new world of learning opportunities. I believe that augmented reality content can create exciting learning experiences and endless learning possibilities which speak to the needs of visual learners, but specifically target learners who conventionally underachieve due to a lack of engagement. I have been tutoring privately since September 2016 and have found being able to provide extra academic support in this way to be incredibly rewarding as I witness real, measurable progress in learners.
