I`m a highly experienced English teacher and specialist 1:1 tutor (consistently rated outstanding by Ofsted and internal observation), with a proven track record of improving results and confidence. I`ve 20 years teaching experience in both mainstream education and as a tutor. I enjoy tailoring each lesson to each individual`s needs, making learning fun yet helping each student reach their fullest potential. I hold a PGCE in English, diploma in dyslexia teaching and a certified ASC and SLCN ( autism/speech and language) certificate. I have vast experience of teaching at KS3 and KS4 ( exam boards AQA, IGCSE and other GCSE syllabuses) and of working with all SPLD, behavioural and emotional needs.
