Information about Kalsoom
I graduated with a BA honours in English language and literature. I completed my PGCE with Edge Hill University a popular university with teachers. I have worked in mainstream schools for quite a few years now and I am currently working as a head of the English department.
Students have excelled in their learning whilst being taught by myself as I teach according to ability and to a level that helps the students engage, understand and develop their own learning.
Availability: weekends and some evenings
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: Qualified English teacher with over 10 years of experience. I have experience of new curriculum changes and have knowledge of most exam boards. I have worked with students with a range of abilities and understand the different needs some student may have in order to understand and progress.

Kalsoom is an excellent tutor. She has made a real difference to my son`s attitude to English Literature. She is very pleasant, reliable and made my son feel very much at ease immediately. She has helped him understand English alot easier and works with what he struggles to understand. I can highly recommend her. A great tutor.

My son is making good progress, and the tutor has helped identify weaknesses (such as slow in composition and writing answers)and is working with him to address these.
