My name is Alistair, I am 26 years old and I am hugely passionate about maths and science. I want to share that passion with others, through tutoring.

At Oxford University I achieved a 1st class degree in Physics, where I was awarded a prize for my examination performance. I did not achieve this because I was `naturally bright`, but because I loved my subject and I put in some hard graft.

Learning about these subjects should always be fun and enjoyable - and when you enjoy what you`re doing, you learn quickly.

Charterhouse school - Cambridge pre-U (equivalent of A-Level) - D1 in maths, further maths, physics (equivalent of high A*), D2 in chemistry (equivalent of A*)
GCSEs - 10 A*s including Maths, English, 3x sciences

Professional experience

April 2018 to April 2020 - analyst at CIL management consultants. Here I worked on small teams on fast paced projects, conducting detailed technical analysis and sharing this with senior team members. My analyses were frequently used to support client`s investments.
July 2016 to August 2017 - Group strategy analyst at Inchcape plc, responsible for managing market data for a FTSE-250 company, preparing reports and presentations for c-suite executives.
