My name is Torie, I`m 25 and I`m based in Clapham, London. I graduated with a 1st class degree in Spanish from the University of Oxford. I have been tutoring full time in London for over a year now, having previously been doing it part-time around my studies. I have also worked at a consulting firm for an internship, as well as in retail. Over the past year I have gained a huge amount of experience with all different age groups and levels, working with 7 year olds up to 20 years olds. I have experience teaching English literature and language, Verbal Reasoning, Spanish, French and Latin. I have experience with multiple different public exams, including 11+ pre-test, ISEB common entrance, Ukiset, GCSEs, iGCSEs, A Levels, IB and Pre-U.
In my free time, I love doing sport, going to the gym, running in the countryside, as well as watching many different sports, especially tennis. I love watching films and documentaries, as well as reading.
Availability: I am able to work flexible hours and have availability both weekdays and weekends.

Experience: I have experience teaching students aged 4-22 years old. I have helped primary school students with a range of subjects, including maths, science, geography and english. I have experience working towards entrance exams, such as Common Entrance, Scholarship exams, 13+ and Sixth form entrance, covering subjects such as English lit and language, Latin, Maths and French. I have also done a wide range of Spanish tutoring which is my specialist subject. I helped one student improve his predicted A Level Spanish Grade substantially, from a U to achieving a B which enabled him to gain a place at Oxford Brooke`s University to study Spanish and French. Most recently, I have been doing online work with a couple of University students on Spanish literature topics, as well as working with a Chinese girl in the Cotswolds on English as a Foreign Language Sixth Form Entrance work. I was extremely pleased to learn recently that said student achieved a place at her top choice Sixth Form school.
