I`m passionate about teaching and learning. I always do my best and my pupils do too. We all learn how to get better at everything we do. I help my pupils burst with confidence.

I have been teaching for 32 years in primary schools. I have qualified teacher status and can teach all primary subjects. I have experience teaching all ages, personalities and abilities. I`ve been tutoring Maths and English for 10 years. Before embarking on tutoring I took advantage of courses for one to one tutors which provided me with even more ideas for games and activities. I love tutoring and I`m thrilled that I been able to help tutees have great successes in their progress or tests. This year a pupil has passed an entrance exam and received an academic scholarship. In addition, an appreciative client presented me with a lovely bunch of roses and a thank you card.

We all have favourite learning styles. I aim to find yours, as well as your skills and interests. We all learn best when we are having fun. You will never feel under pressure, Ill join in with the activity. Sometimes we will play competitive games. Will you be able to beat the tutor? On other occasions, Ill have found an interactive game online for you to practise your skills. I like to help you get excited about reading and writing by using favourite authors or interests. I have knowledge of Key Stage 1 and 2 Maths, English and Science and have helped many children prepare for their next steps in their education. Let me boost your confidence!

Availability: Weekdays afternoons and evenings and weekends.
