MEDICINE, UKCAT, PIANO, VIOLIN & THEORY.

I am friendly, hardworking and organised. I am a fourth year medical student.
I intercalated in iBsc Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Materials and graduated with a first class degree with honours. I grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I am very enthusiastic about music. I have attended 3 years at Edinburgh music school so I know how the system works well. I have achieved grade 8 distinction on both piano and violin. I have obtained straight A’s in my high school qualifications: 8A’s at Scottish National 5’s (GCSE equivalent), 7A’s at Scottish Highers (AS equivalent) and 5A’s in Scottish Advanced Highers (A level equivalent). The highest grade is an A in Scottish board exams. I am ethnically from China, so I can also speak fluent mandarin.

I am looking for experience as a tutor, improve my teaching skills and would love to communicate with you.

I have also been tutoring for over 8 years and have had teaching experiences with over 30 students.

Availability: Only available to tutor on evening weekdays and anytime weekend due to hospital placements on the weekdays.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I went to the city of Edinburgh music school for 3 years. I have achieved distinction in ABRSM grade 8 exams in both piano and violin. I have won prizes in the Edinburgh competition festival. I can also tutor aural and theory. I have also been tutoring for over 8 years and have had teaching experiences with over 30 students.

I am also a medical student so I can give advice on revising for UKCAT and UCAS applications.
