Hello, I`m a current Course Leader for (AQA) A Level English Language at an outstanding Sixth Form college in Manchester. I`m also an AQA Examiner which means I can help you to achieve excellent exam results.

Although I am new to Tutor Hunt, my experience of tutoring on a 1: 1 basis spans 20 years, and I take pride in knowing that I`ve helped countless students to pass their exams with flying colours.

I`m so passionate about English Language and Literature that I went on to attain a Ph.D in the subject, which means I can help you to deepen your subject knowledge and develop your understanding of the key skills you`ll need to be successful.

I can offer lively and engaging individually tailored and group sessions which will boost you child`s confidence and ensure rapid progress is made, with measurable results.

Availability: I currently have available sessions on the following days:

Mon: 10-8pm
Tues - Fri: 4pm -9pm
Sat: 11am- 6pm
Sunday. 11.30am - 5pm

Please note, I will have more availability over the summer.

Experience: - Currently in post at a Manchester Sixth Form college where I am Course Leader for A Level English
Language, and I teach on A Level and GCSE courses in English Language and Literature.

- Hold a PGCE teaching qualification in Secondary English and SEN (Distinction)

-Taught KS3/KS4 English in Secondary schools for 4 years.

- AQA Examiner for 4 years

- Personal tutor in English for 20 years

-One year online tutoring - exceptionally savvy with online teaching tools and platforms.

- Taught English in HE for 7 years (undergraduate courses in English, Film and Media Studies at
Staffordshire University and the Manchester Metropolitan University)
