I am an experienced and enthusiastic teacher who loves working with pupils on a one-to-one basis to help them realise their potential, gain confidence or to prepare them for public or common entrance exams (7+ and 11+ at selective schools).

With 22 years’ experience and an excellent knowledge of the local independent school sector, I offer relaxed and friendly one to one tuition at my home on the Epping/Loughton border. I can teach English from Primary level up to GCSE.

If you have any concerns about your child`s progress, one to one tuition is one of the most effective ways to address this and help your child overcome any obstacles in their learning. Once I get to know your child and their needs I will tailor our sessions to address these and find appropriate, age-level resources to support them.

I regret that I am not able to travel, but as a full-time teacher with a young family, weekends are the only opportunity I have to teach. I have a large, bright workspace and all books and other resources are provided. Often children are more focussed out of their home environment!

Experience: I have been a full-time teacher for 22 years - apart from two maternity leaves. I have experience teaching children throughout KS2 and English to KS3 and even GCSE.
