Former Head of Physics at a selective independent School, now working in online education. Cambridge University graduate in Chemical Engineering.

I have 5 years experience of teaching and tutoring Physics and Maths at GCSE and A level, including Oxbridge preparation and mock interviews. I am also an ambassador for Isaac Physics, an online platform for helping Physics students transition from GCSE to A level to university, and have worked with teachers and students at regional and UK workshops, helping them to develop their ability to solve challenging Physics and Maths problems.

I enjoy one-on-one tuition as it enables me to tailor sessions to suit the specific needs of the individual, whether that be preparing them for applications to top universities, or supporting them in consolidating GCSE and A level material. The current climate has allowed me to develop my use of video conferencing software to conduct sessions remotely, exploiting various online tools to create an interactive learning environment.

Experience: I graduated from Cambridge in 2014 and began a career in management consultancy, but doing some tutoring on the side helped me to realise that my true passion lay in teaching. I joined an independent boarding school as a Maths & Physics teacher, also coaching rugby, football and cricket, in September 2015 and have remained in teaching ever since.

As part of my teaching roles, I have conducted numerous mock interviews for students applying to top universities to study Physics, Natural Science, Engineering and Maths. I have also run regional problem-solving workshops for A level Physics students, and supported students at the Isaac Physics Student Bootcamp at Cambridge University.
