Eleni

I am a mathematician with a passion for mathematics education. I have worked with a wide range of abilities and over the years I have specialised in both primary and secondary maths education. I have a strong mathematical background with specialism in statistics, probability and applied mathematics. Completing my masters degree in Education has complemented my technical skills with a deeper understanding of effective teaching and learning approaches. I am proud to be constantly complimented on how easy I make maths seem to every student.


Tutoring Approach
I strongly believe that everyone can do maths at a very high level and enjoy it at the same time! I take pleasure in seeing my students grow in their confidence in mathematics and discover that no concept is too difficult to understand if explained in the right way.

Availability: Weekday evenings 6pm-9pm and weekends 9am-5pm

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I have tutored for the past 18 years and I have worked with students from as young as 5 years old to as old as mid 40s. I tailor each lesson to the needs of the learner and I design each course depending on the targets and aspirations of each student. I also offer specific exam preparation, be it SATs/11+/13+, GCSEs, A-levels or university level.
