Information about Eliza
Hi, my name is Eliza and I am currently undertaking a law conversion in London. I graduated from the University of Exeter in 2022, with a First-class degree in Politics. I completed Politics A level in 2019 so my knowledge and exam technique for the specific course is still very fresh. I have over 1,500 hours of tutoring experience (across different platforms), so have a lot of experience.

I have a lot of experience tutoring A-Level politics. I know I can help any student boost their grade and become more confident with the subject.
All students are different so depending on the level of knowledge, I can start at the basics or just go straight into planning essay questions. I can cover any part of the course, teach content that is not fully understood and answer any questions that the student may have. I follow the specification/syllabus very closely to ensure that the student feels confident that they know the course inside out.
Examples are KEY to success so I will place great emphasis on this in my lessons. I know an extensive range of examples, particularly after studying politics at degree level, so I know this will be very useful in helping the student boost their grade.
Moreover, planning essay questions is vital to achieve the top grades. Consequently, once the student is confident with all of the content we will plan as many essay questions as possible. This will ensure the student feels secure and confident in their capability and knowledge. I found that the more essay questions I planned, the more prepared I felt, and the better I did so this is key to my lessons.
I also run intensive courses over the summer where run through the entire course in order to help students improve their grade.

Really really helpful, we seemed to get through a lot in a short space of time, and I could send her little questions outside of lessons too (: exactly what I needed and I was pretty confident when I sat the exam- I`d been teaching the course mostly to myself. She came across as a lovely person too

Eliza has been very helpful with revising for politics. A couple of months before my A level, I was really struggling with US politics in particular and was unsure how to tackle the questions. After only 2 sessions with Eliza, my marks moved up significantly from C to around about an A. she helps with both essay structure and analysis, as well as content, covering large topics in such short time and is always making sure everything goes in by testing my knowledge. I cant recommend enough, a very good tutor.
