I am a secondary school maths teacher in Nottingham with a keen interest in helping students access maths. I always try to create links across the curriculum to aid in retention of information/techniques to help get towards the essential grades 4/5 and above.

Personally, I am very passionate about my job as I feel that it makes a real difference to the lives of the young people I work with. I love seeing the young people grow in confidence and their sense of achievement.

Outside of school, I lead Duke of Edinburgh expeditions and work for NCS. I frequently train in the gym for personal satisfaction - I find that it helps me relax after a long day at work.

Availability: I will be as flexible as possible to cater to the needs of the student. Once we return to school evening and weekends will be the best time’s for myself.

Experience: I am a qualified secondary school maths teacher and have a wealth of experience in teaching years 7-11, specialising in ensuring understanding and achieving the essential grades 4/5 at GCSE regardless of the starting point.
