Information about George
I have recently won the Gloucestershire Philosophical Society prize for Excellence in Philosophy, after graduating with a first class honours degree in religion, philosophy and ethics. Moreover, during the degree, I won the award for the best presentation of a dissertation. My dissertation examined Brexit`s contingency on populism. This summer, I completed postgraduate study at the University of Gloucestershire, specialising in environmental ethics. I examined the link between global religions, philosophies, and cultures, with the current environmental crisis. As my research is multidisciplinary, I offer tuition in a variety of subjects: religious studies, philosophy, ethics, sociology, politics, and history. I am a essay writer, so I can help with English lessons also. I can teach all ages, and all levels of education, but I am also able to help current undergraduate students, if their degree falls within the `humanity` category.
I am more than happy to go above and beyond, marking essays etc outside of the scheduled slot too, for no extra cost.
In relation to my style of teaching, my fundamental belief is that there cannot be a successful one-size fits all approach. Every student is unique; therefore I offer a consultation free of charge to begin with (although you will have to pay a small commission to Tutor Hunt). During this consultation, we will go through exactly what it is you need support with, but also your goal too, so we can actively work towards reaching that goal. Hence, the first session does not cover course content, but instead derives a plan to achieve your goals. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I hope to hear from you at some stage.
