Information about Dominic
I am passionate about teaching Science to students of all ages. I am fully qualified and a highly experienced (30 years) teacher of Science (Physics Specialism). I have recently taught Science at Emmanuel College (Outstanding x 4). I teach Chemistry, Biology and Physics to Key Stage 3 and Physics and Chemistry to GCSE. I specialise in Physics at A Level with AQA Exam Board. I am vey well qualified and have earned the following academic qualifications: MA Education, University of Bath (2017). Leadership Pathways - National College of School Leadership (2008). PGCE Secondary Science (1992). BSc (Hons) Physics, University of Newcastle upon Tyne (1991).

Experience: Previously I have taught Physics with Cambridge IGCSE and IGCE Exam Board internationally as well as Physics with OCR, Edexcel and AQA in the UK. My previous education roles have included; Head of Physics, Head of Science, Progress Leader for Science, Deputy Head (Academic) and Pastoral Lead. I am an AQA Examiner for GCSE Physics. I have taught in comprehensive and grammar schools in the UK and in independent boarding schools Internationally. I have been involved with primary school science projects as well as physics and robotics competitions. I have taught physics in international schools (Indonesia and Zambia).
