I offer lessons in Bass Guitar, Double Bass, Piano, and Music Theory; my approach is instrument-specific, but with an understanding of the different roles in an ensemble. I graduated from the BMus course (Jazz bass) at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, one of the world`s leading conservatoires.

Prior to picking up the bass, I started with Piano and Saxophone, which has given me an appreciation of other instrument roles in a group. I perform in lots of styles, from Baroque to Jazz to Post-Punk and everything in between.

I offer lessons in theory, including ABRSM grades and GCSE/A Level theory as well as Jazz harmony and composition.

I live in East London with good transport connections, and I am set up for online lessons if these are more convenient for you.

Experience: Substantial stage experience, performing at renowned venues such as Koko Camden, and festivals in Iceland, The Netherlands, and elsewhere. Studio experience in a variety of environments and styles. Recordings have featured on BBC and commercial radio.

I have taught bass guitar and double bass in schools and am presently employed by an after-school music education centre.
