I am an experienced GCSE and A-level Computer Science tutor, specialising in both AQA and OCR, with a strong focus on programming, problem-solving, and exam success. I help students build confidence in Python (and Java), develop clear computational thinking, and apply their knowledge effectively in exams.
I have been an examiner for AQA GCSE and A-level Computer Science since 2022, which allows me to give students clear insight into how marks are awarded, what examiners are looking for, and how to avoid common mistakes. Alongside this, I am Head of Curriculum at a leading grammar school in Kent, where I teach GCSE and A-level Computer Science to students of varying abilities.

Experience: I have been an educator for 9 years and I also have over 15 years’ experience as an IT professional, having worked with organisations such as SAP and IBM, before transitioning into teaching. Anitha has that essential quality of a good teacher: someone you want to listen to. She’s helps my son so learns at a pace that both reinforces what he knows and pushes him a bit further than before. After a month with her, his teacher has already remarked on how much more my son knows and how his grades are climbing. We are so pleased we found her.

Anitha was my daughter’s tutor for GCSE . She was very patient and explained the concept to her in a simple way . She improved her understanding of the subject and her confidence . My daughter improved by several grades and secured a 9 in her GCSE .I highly recommend her.

Anitha is a very experienced tutor. She is able to explain concepts clearly and answer any questions in order for my son to understand the work better. She is always well prepared for the sessions and my son`s grade has improved since he started the sessions. Anitha is very accommodating when we had to move some sessions around. She is friendly and patient and we would recommend her to anyone.
