Information about Amanda
I am an enthusiastic and highly experienced tutor and teaching assistant, able to offer tuition in ESOL/EAL (English to Speakers of Other Languages/English as an Additional Language) and English GCSE. I can also offer lessons in developing literacy for those children and adults who may struggle with their reading and writing. I am passionate about teaching and love seeing students progress and achieve their potential! Every student is different, so I tailor lessons around them and their individual needs, ensuring the work covered is relevant and that we work at a pace that is right for them. SEN students most welcome.

Availability: I am available during the day on Wednesday, and most evenings(Monday-Thursday) Could also potentially do a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Experience: I have worked in Education for over 20 years and have experience of teaching both adults and children (including SEN) I have taught English as an Additional Language and have tutored in French and English at GCSE level. I currently work in a successful Northampton secondary school and provide EAL , ELSA and literacy support. I also contribute to study support sessions across the curriculum, practising the skills required for the new G.C.S.E exams.
