I have been a full time playing and teaching professional guitarist since 1994. I love to teach all styles, levels, ages and am excited to show the youngest or oldest student their first chord right through to helping the struggling professional guitarist develop their career.

Availability: Im available daytimes and evenings on request.

Experience: I have 20 years teaching experience and have taught in schools such as Sir William Romney (Tetbury), Marling Boys School (Stroud), Stroud high (Girls School), Oxtalls (Gloucester), Churchdown (Cheltenham), St Mary’s Primary schools (Tetbury), Kings Stanley primary (King stanley), Abbeymead primary school (Gloucester), Archway (Stroud) right through to lecturing Jazz improvisation at the Exclusive Musicians Institute (Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles).
I achieved the highest number of Trinity college/ Rock School exam passes in the country in 2003 with 121 pupils reaching at least a pass grade between grades 1-8. (100% pass rate over 20 years)
I have toured across the globe with my acoustic guitar group (Gypsy Fire and Holder and Smith) which I founded in 2010 including playing main Stage music festivals throughout Europe and the US. I have had private bookings from celebrities including Sir Elton John and David Furnish, The Beckhams and Princess Anne to name a few. I am happy teaching grades or casually as part of a developing hobby.
