Hi! I am a stipendiary lecturer of applied maths at Worcester college, Oxford who has recently completed their PhD (DPhil) in mathematics at the University of Oxford. I am specialised in applied mathematics and am currently working in mathematical biochemistry. My undergraduate and masters in mathematics were taken at the University of Cambridge where I specialised in mathematical physics for part III. Mathematics is a wonderful subject, and anyone can improve if they commit themselves to work at it. I hope to instil an appreciation and enthusiasm for the subject, guiding students through its initial intimidation to the point that they can tackle incredibly involved problems by themselves with confidence.

Experience: I have over 9 years of tutoring experience, both in person and online. I have tutored a variety of levels: from primary school level to Oxbridge admissions tests to university masters courses. In particular, I have experience helping students with competition mathematics preparation (at the BMO level), and have marked official STEP papers for Cambridge, as well as MAT papers for Oxford. At Oxford I have taught a variety of courses in the mathematics department ranging over multiple colleges to intercollegiate classes for the third and fourth years. I have co-authored a book on MAT preparation, and have extensive experience in tutoring: pre-GCSE, secondary school admission tests (including helping some students get King`s scholarships at Eton), GCSE, A-level, IB and SATs as well as Oxbridge admission tests.
