IT Literate: A sound knowledge of key IT skills such as word and excel developed whilst at university and during employment. ‘ECDL – European Computer Driving License’

Team Working: Whilst working it was necessary to liaise closely with fellow colleagues to achieve the daily goals. This involved assisting senior team leaders and being assisted by more junior members of the team.

Flexibility: During my time as a senior care assistant, I was required to work long unsociable hours with the onus being on me to work when and where required to ensure the well-being and security of the clients. This flexibility was also a prerequisite of teaching which allows me to be adaptable to the changing educational environment.

Numerate: My degree required high levels of numeracy, which provided very useful in roles where I was required to handle cash and teach a myriad of different mathematical techniques.
