I have been teaching for 12 years at secondary level. I teach Biology to A Level and all sciences to GCSE, preferably Biology and Chemistry.
I was a Research Fellow prior to teaching, where I taught undergraduate and postgraduates, as well as presenting scientific studies at international conferences.

As well as a passion for science, I love music, arts, theatre and reading. I am a member of a local running club, as well as volunteering regularly at free running events, such as the weekly 5K Saturday parkrun.

Availability: Currently teaching full time in a College so am not taking any tutoring this academic year.

I have been a head of the Biology Department for four years, having responsibility for the progress and achievement of A-Level students. I have also been an examiner for AQA, so have knowledge of what the examiners are looking for!
Prior to school teaching, I was research scientist for 8 years during which time I taught undergraduate and postgraduate students.
