I am a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages and an MA in English as a Foreign Language. I am French married to an Englishman and I have been living in the UK for the past 12 years. I have a little boy whom I bring up bilingually.

Availability: I am currently tutoring adult students looking to improve their conversational French. I am accepting more students.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have taught in a wide range of settings (SEN, primary, secondary, private schools) and helped many students do well at GCSE and A-levels. I have done a lot of supply work in the past and was voted National Supply Teacher of the Term by Select Education in 2011.
My experience as a teacher means that I am very familiar with the exam process and the years of study leading to them. I am used to working with children and teenagers. I know how to put them at ease and create a relaxed, positive learning environment. I do however have high expectations and want my students to give me nothing less than 100%!
I am reliable, flexible, I work hard. I am also warm, friendly and genuinely care for my students. I want them to enjoy my subject and do well. There is no better reward for me than seeing a student achieve whatever it is that they want to achieve.
