#ONLINE ONLY I am a friendly, patient and helpful BA French & Spanish Graduate (2017-2021) from the University of Leicester offering private tuition for GCSE, A Level, ab initio/beginners university study, as well as beginner-intermediate adult learners in both languages.

I am happy to teach any age, from primary school to adult learners, but I have particular knowledge of and experience with the GCSE and A Level curriculums. I offer 1 hour classes, but 45 minutes to 2 hour sessions can be arranged, as well as 5 hour and 10 hour pre-paid lesson packages.

At university, I have spent the last four years studying both languages to a high level (C1 CEFR), and spent my third year living in France and Spain, improving my fluency and confidence. Prior to this, I studied GCSE and A Level French & Spanish, while also tutoring several GCSE French students while in Sixth Form. Between 2015 and 2018 I volunteered as a Leader with the Girl Guides, and since 2017 I have worked in a nursery so I have good experience working with children of all ages and different teaching methodology that can be applied across various ages and skill levels.

My teaching approach takes into account what you want to learn, what your goals are and where you want to take your language learning, as well as honing in on areas for improvement and making an action plan to specifically target these areas. For GCSE and A Level students, a more specific focus on the National Curriculum will be followed, targeting key objectives of the courses, as well as exam practice. For university study and adult learners, tuition will start by building a strong foundation in the basics, but will work towards tailoring lessons to your specific goals and interests (e.g. vocab for business, holidays etc.).
