I am a mature, homeschooled and largely self-taught teenager, who successfully completed my IGCSEs, with grades A - A* and recently received my International Baccalaureate Diploma withba score of 39. I specialise in English, Economics, Physics and Chemistry IGCSEs / GCSEs. I understand and can apply the marking scheme for these subjects to prepare students to confidently sit those exams. I am highly self - motivated and have developed effective study skills, which I wish to pass on to my students, with the least stress possible.

From my personal experience, the most effective tutor is not always the trained teacher as tutoring ‘one to one’ requires different skills. I have the time and patience to tutor each pupil according to their particular needs. Being homeschooled for the majority of my life, I have been able to learn to navigate the online and offline resources available to me in order to achieve maximum success. I aim to pass these skills on to my students to help them also achieve their desired results.

I know how to communicate complex concepts and theories to teens and can share my motivation tips. But, most importantly, I am results orientated while still being fun and creative with my teaching / learning styles and activities.

In addition, I am currently involved in curriculum research and development for an educational charity in my neighbourhood.
