I really enjoy teaching languages to others, from absolute beginners to A level. l also enjoy learning languages in my spare time. I recognise how challenging and rewarding it is to learn a foreign language from my Latin and French lessons at school, and studying Spanish and Italian at university. I still spend my free time teaching myself different languages. At the moment I`m learning German!
I understand the challenges that language learners face, both from my own experiences of learning languages, and my work in schools. I am very enthusiastic and flexible and I also recognise that advising on study techniques and resources are sometimes just as important as new words and phrases.

Availability: I am happy to travel to you for lessons or to tutor at my home. I am available term time, Saturday mornings and holidays.

Experience: I am an experienced Spanish and French teacher and have been preparing students for GCSE and A level exams for more than 20 years in secondary schools. I have also worked in primary schools and taught adult conversation classes. I have a BA(Hons) in Modern Languages and PGCE secondary. I am up to date with new specifications in both French and Spanish GCSE & A LEVEL with AQA and Edexcel. Currently, I teach secondary students up to A level standard and conduct GCSE and A level speaking exams in both French and Spanish.
