I am 28 year-old tutor with over 9 years of experience. First-class graduate from UCL and Goldsmiths, University of London. I am looking to tutor Maths or English to anyone who needs help - of any age or standard. Happy to do regular sessions or one-off lessons.

I have student Maths at UCL and Art at Goldsmiths, University of London - both with First / Distinction. I have also achieved an A* in Maths A2 Level, an A in Further Maths A2 Level, an A in FSMQ, and an A* in Maths IGCSE. As both a Mathematician and Artist/Curator, I have a strong understanding of both the sciences and arts, and have a creative, flexible approach to learning and teaching.

Past students who went on to take exams or tests all achieved higher than predicted. This is extremely rewarding for both the student and myself, and along with this, I value a compassionate, open and flexible attitude and person-centered approach to tutoring that takes in the student`s needs. I want to encourage students to think for themselves and suggest topics and questions to cover that they need help on, while providing encouragement and building confidence. This may include going beyond the formal curriculum. As someone who loves learning, I really strive to promote an appreciation for Maths and learning more broadly, and hope that the students I work with enjoy the sessions we have, as this is paramount to me, along with making improvements for their capability.

Availability: I offer both in-person and online sessions, whatever is most convenient for you and what you feel most comfortable doing, given the circumstances. I am flexible with times and we can work something out that`s best for both of us.

This is an excellent time of year to hire a tutor, to address weak points in the syllabus ahead of exams, particularly given missed or rushed elements due to hybrid teaching over the pandemic.

Experience: I have over 9 years of experience tutoring in a range of settings (including one-to-one tutoring sessions, school groups, volunteering at after-school sessions) and extensive experience working with young people. I have tutored numerous young people on a weekly basis, between the ages of 5 and 18, including those with SEND. This includes Primary, KS2, common entrance 11+ and 13+, KS3, GCSE and iGCSE, A Level, entrance tests for UK and US universities, and adult learning (including NCFE Level 2 Functional Skills Qualification in Mathematics).

I have helped many students accelerate and boost their grades, which is incredibly rewarding to see, as I understand GCSE and A-Level results are very important for later progression in further education and for employment.
