I am an experienced primary school teacher (15years) and have tutored throughout this time. I prefer face-to-face tuition but am available for online too. I can tutor all primary subjects, with Maths and English being the most popular. I have supported children with school entrance preparation, closing gaps in knowledge, building on and extending learning and making learning fun and accessible. I have worked with children with a range of needs including dyslexia.

I have been a year group lead, designed curriculum for whole school progression, taught intervention for phonics, maths, English, spelling, reading and science across the primary age range.
Used assessment to create progression documents for continued progress.
I have excellent knowledge of the British National Curriculum and the expected standards for each year group, plus next steps for children learning outside of their age-expectations.

I have a particular interest in teaching phonics, English and maths. With some children, I have taught half a session maths, then half a session English.
