Information about Colm
Hi, I`m Colm and I am a professional composer-lyricist, pianist, musical director and teacher working in London. I am a composition graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and am currently undertaking a MA in Dramaturgy at Birkbeck, University of London. I am also a graduate of the BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology, with experience in applied theatre in community outreach settings.
I am an engaging and personable teacher, specialising in the following disciplines:

Experience: I have taught in both private and institutional capacities for several years, engaging in a variety of practices and approaches. These have included: classroom teaching; one-to-one piano, composition, and music theory; drama and singing facilitation.
I was Musician-in-Residence at St. Dunstan`s College from 2018-2020, during which I taught as a KS3-KS5 academic music teacher, as well as coaching for and accompanying ABRSM exams, recitals, and concerts, and musically directing productions. Concurrently to this, I was commissioned as a composer-lyricist by the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and the BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology to write and musically direct a musical, devised with musical theatre students.
