Information about Carmel
I have been tutoring for 8 years now and have recently had some slots open us as my regular students have completed their final studies. Over the years I have helped students improve both their grades and general confidence, with one example being a student failing to achieving a grade B in their GCSE in just a few months.
I am a graduate from the University of Winchester, with a first class honours in BA (Hons) Choreography and Dance & Business Management. Since then I have been tutoring , whilst building up my own business. I have a genuine passion for education and learning and thoroughly enjoy helping people improve their grades and confidence.
Availability: Monday: 7-8pm
Tuesday: 7-8pm
Wednesday: No current Availability
Thursday: No availability
Friday: 4pm, 5pm, 6pm
Please not above are my after school hours. Availability most daytimes for college/adult students.

Experience: I have experience in teaching a wide range of students, ranging from 3 year olds to adult learners. Alongside this I also experience with working with those with learning difficulties. Throughout my time in education, I devoted many of my spare time helping others learn, and general encouragement to learn. This involved running a school dance company, and peer mentoring younger students with homework and general life advice. I currently tutor students from KS2 to degree level in a range of subjects including: Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Business, HR, ESL, Dance and BCS. Alongside this, I also offer proofreading services for essays.
Throughout my work I have helped student achieve A*`s in GCSE`s, distinctions in A Level courses and have taken university students who were previously failing to high 2:1`s and firsts as well as well as improving students self confidence.

My daughter is dyslexic and struggles with her attention span. She`s told me that her sessions with Carmel are so enjoyable that the time flies by. Carmel is calm, patient and supportive. My daughter feels encouraged and not talked down to. We can`t rate Carmel highly enough

Carmel is a superb, hard working tutor, preparing suitable approaches to support her students. Our son was struggling with English Language. In 5 months with weekly support, he moved from a 3 in his mock, to a 7 in his actual GCSE. We can not thank Carmel enough for her excellent support and guidance! Thoroughly recommended!
