Hello, my name is Phillip!
I am a fourth year medical student and I am currently taking a year out of my medical studies to complete a Masters degree in Critical care.
I am generally a very hard-working and organised person and lessons will be planned well to be made the most out of. However, I am also a friendly face and enjoy building one-to-one relationships with students - I hope students can also enjoy the lessons.
I have a history of strong grades (11A* at GCSE and 3A* at A level) and so I am confident that I will be able to push you to achieve your full potential. I can help tailor the lessons around the needs and weaknesses of the student, as well as cover general things such as explaining theory / concepts and helping with exam technique and practice.
I mainly tutor chemistry at all levels (primary through to A-levels) and tutor online only.

My eldest daughter is her second year at college and is studying chemistry and we found that she needed someone to consolidate topics and go over exam techniques with, and Philip was extremely good at making her more confident in her answers as well as ensuring that those answers entailed everything she needs to get marks. His tips for exam technique have really helped her nail the key points in answers and therefore save time which was another thing she was struggling with. My other daughter who has just started college is also studying chemistry and we decided to sign her up for tutoring right from the get-go, and if you`re looking for someone to build the foundation of your knowledge in a subject then I highly recommend a weekly lesson with Philip, because she goes in with her questions regarding work that she did throughout the week and comes out much more confident than before, and is able to retain that information for future as well.
