Hi, my name is Iona!

I am passionate about tutoring languages and have experience in providing tuition in English, German and English as a Foreign Language across both the Scottish and English curricula to much success. I have recently graduated with a Master of Arts degree in German from the University of Glasgow and I have a qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Furthermore, I am PVG and DBS certified.

It is always a privilege to guide my students towards achieving their goals in English and German and I am pleased to say that I have a strong track record of helping my students to not only achieve success but also finding a passion for the subject.

Experience: Having worked as a tutor for more than a year and half I have experience with supporting students in their studies to achieve success. I have achieved excellent reviews and feedback from former and current students and have helped to guide all my students towards top grades, increased confidence and improved school reports.

I have a degree in German and am passionate about sharing my knowledge of the language. In my spare time I volunteer at a local high school in the languages department as a German language assistant.

Previously, I have supported students in studying for SQA English and German exams, German GCSE and English for all school years across both the Scottish and English curricula and English as a Foreign Language.
