I am a friendly, calm and patient primary school teacher who believes in instilling young learners with confidence and a determination to achieve.I am adaptable and have a variety of strategies including a play-based approach for more reluctant learners, to more traditional-style schooling. I have a wealth of experience working with children with special educational needs and can create a unique programme of lessons for your child`s individual needs.

Experience: I am a qualified nursery nurse and early years educator (BTEC level 3). I have worked in early years settings for around 5 years. I studied for my BA in Primary Teacher Education at Oxford Brookes University and graduated in 2015 with a 1st class honours degree and qualified teacher status. Throughout my teacher training, I
taught pupils from Year R to Year 6, from a variety of different backgrounds. Most recently, I have taught in a primary school in Basingstoke for the last 3 years as a Year 1 class teacher. I have worked with children with dyslexia, selective mutism, autistic spectrum disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, speech and language disorders and other social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
