Information about Jahangir
Hi, I`m Jag! I am a 2nd year Medical Student currently studying at the University of Liverpool, with extensive experience in tutoring younger peers.
Having experienced GCSEs and A-Levels recently, as well as teaching younger siblings currently sitting exams, I can relate to younger students and teach at an appropriate level using methods that are easy to understand. My time as a peer mentor has allowed me to provide pastoral support as well as to teach. I have a record of academic excellence, including 8 A*s & 2 As at GCSE, and AAAa at A-Level.
I can also help with interview skills and UCAS applications, particularly for those applying to Medicine. For those looking to enhance their Medicine applications and increase their chance of getting into Med School, please enquire about the `Getting into Medicine` package.
Working with the student, I can help to overcome any obstacles they may encounter within their curriculum, and allow them to reach their potential!

My daughter was struggling in English before but now she has improved a lot, thanks to Jahangir. She has also said she has become better in writing essays in school. He taught my daughter the subjects English, Religious Education and Mathematics. I would definitely recommend Jahangir as a tutor for students, who need help on their exam preparations as he outlines the important points that are needed in a question. He is doing everything he can to help my daughter in preparations for her GCSE exams that she will take in May and I am very grateful that we found him early because he has helped my daughter improve in her studies in a very short period.Thank you.

Jahangir tutored my son in the lead up to his GCSE exams in biology, physics and maths. In a very short space of a few weeks he went through key topics that my son struggled with and tested him directly with actual exam questions thereby also developing his exam technique. He put him through his paces and prepared him for the exams very well. I have no doubt that he managed to get the best out of him in the short time available. He is an excellent mentor and I would recommend Jahangir to anyone who needs someone to encourage their teenager to study and perform well in the sciences and maths. The mentoring element was an unexpected benefit as it encouraged my son to stay motivated to study hard and having a tutor who is only a few years older and a medical study who only did their GCSEs recently certainly had its benefits as he could emphathise with his situation. My son knows that he has done all he can and hopefully will have corresponding high grades.
