Information about Brian
I am Mathematics graduate from Imperial College London with first class honours.
I believe that the best way to learn is through discussion of a subject so that the student may think of ideas by themselves with guidance rather than just the traditional learning from a textbook.
As a student who is truly interested in many of the sciences, I believe I am able to engage other students in their subjects in order to not only develop their understanding but also their interest.
Availability: I am available to tutor every day at any time for online lessons only.
I offer £10 off the first session with new students.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have 6 years of tutoring experience.
Previously I have tutored for the 11+ exams, GCSE and A level exams in Physics and maths.
I have volunteered in Belmont Primary School in Mill Hill, assisting in teaching pupils science.
In my previous school, Queen Elizabeth`s School Barnet:
I helped run weekly Physics clinics in which I helped GCSE students develop their understanding in areas of the subject they were struggling with.
I mentored GCSE students with the UKMT maths mentoring scheme, guiding students through challenging mathematical problems.
I ran sessions for keen physics students to challenge them and help prepare them for the British Physics Olympiads.
