As a qualified teacher I have over 16 years of classroom based experience across four key stages, from Foundation to Key Stage 3.

Everyone comes to Education with different experiences and perspectives and this affects the way we engage with our own learning.

Education should develop the whole child, enabling each one to reach his/her own potential.
Children learn in different ways and my aim is to help each child develop a range of strategies best suited to their own learning styles. I have always enjoyed helping children become happy, confident and independent learners with a desire for lifelong learning. They can only do this if they feel secure and valued.

I am known for my ability to build good relationships with children, to care for, listen, challenge, stimulate, encourage and praise. All children should then achieve success.

I want the best for your child, expect the best from them and will do all that I can to help them achieve this.

Availability: After school most week days 3 pm - 6 pm. Primary aged children 6yrs-11yrs. Please note, I DO NOT travel to your home. I ONLY tutor in my own home.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: 16 years as qualified teacher in State and private education, child care provider for several years and teaching assistant before qualifying as a teacher.
