I`m Charlotte, I am a Primary Teacher and SENCo and offer home tuition, online tuition and group tuition. I believe in the importance of making learning fun and interesting for children and enable them to understand the purpose for their learning. At school, I have a reputation for finding imaginative and exciting ways of teaching even the most seemingly mundane topics. I will tailor every session to your child`s interests and will continually monitor their progress to decide when they need to move on or whether they need more help with the topic. At the end of every session, I will provide you with verbal feedback (if it is face to face tuition) or written feedback (if online). I will also provide your child with an activity to complete after the session to consolidate their knowledge.
I also have experience of working with home educated children, children with SEN and school refusers.
I genuinely love my job and this can be seen through the sessions that I offer.

Experience: I have 10 years experience as a Primary School Teacher. I have taught Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 and have been the Phase Leader for Early Years, Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2. I have extensive experience of not only teaching children who have SEN, but also have worked for the Local Authority SEN team where I was responsible for ensuring that the children`s needs were met. I have also led SEN provision in my position as a SENCo. I started private tutoring 2 years ago and absolutely love it!
