Hi, I`m Josiah and I have recently graduated from the University of Durham with a 2:1 degree in Modern Languages (BA Hons Spanish and Italian). Having now obtained my degree I have returned to London with a view to teaching languages. I would like to supplement this by using the skills I have to offer by doing secondary school level tuition at both GCSE and Sixth Form level.

I am friendly, patient and thoroughly aware of what is needed to achieve to achieve highly in Spanish and Italian at secondary school level. I live in South East London and am relatively flexible with regards to travelling to places.

Availability: Generally available throughout the summer months. Available evenings and weekends during term times.

Experience: I worked as a student ambassador for Durham University teaching Spanish to visiting secondary school pupils with Europe Direct Durham.

I taught English in several schools in Ecuador during my year abroad, planning classes and getting to grips with what is required of a full time teacher.

I taught regular lunchtime Italian classes at Park View secondary school in Chester-Le-Street, County Durham while in the second year of my degree.

I have tutored Spanish to children at GCSE level as a part of the CAS (Creativity Action Service) aspect of my International Baccalaureate diploma when still in sixth form.
