I have taught Economics and Law A level for 20 years at a local sixth form college and am a senior examiner. My students achieve final grades that are above their predicted grade. I have been examining for over 14 years and am a senior examiner for both A level Law, A level Economics and IGCSE Economics.

I believe that I can simplify subject content and help students achieve grades that they are truly capable of. Being an examiner allows me to teach students how to answer exam questions and to learn what examiners are looking for.

I can tutor in person and online and am flexible with lesson times to fit around students` schedules.

I have experience of tutoring students from private and state schools and achieve excellent results. I tutored a student who was not studying law at school. This student took Law as an additional subject and with structured lessons and hard work the student achieved an A*.

As well as subject support I have extensive experience as a pastoral tutor and helping students write personal statements for university and I am happy to help with university applications and interview preparation.

Availability: Evenings and weekends as well as holidays. I tutor online from my home address and this allows me to reduce travelling time for students and provides greater flexibility with lesson times.
