My positive teaching is important in engaging the children and making them feel enthused to learn. I love to excite children about their learning so they are focused to improve. Making the children feel confident to improve is paramount to me.

To start tutoring any child I would assess their levels in Literacy and Maths. From this I would look at the areas of further learning and focus on the these to improve their understanding, knowledge and skills. I would then create differentiated learning tasks to progress the child in the areas they need to further develop.

Experience: I have five years of experience in the primary classroom. My experience ranges over the primary age range specifically in ks2 but I can adapt my teaching to all ages and abilities.

My experience supports my ability to teach to all individual children. During my teaching I have taught children with a range of needs that I differentiate for, including special educational needs such as autism and dyslexia. I teach all subjects and have a real passion for Literacy and Maths.

I am confident to teach children of any primary age (5-11). Teaching during the Easter SAT school helped my passion to teach children at a higher levels.
