I am a friendly, approachable and outgoing person who is confident and passionate about the Welsh language.
I thoroughly enjoy my career as a teacher, and I try to introduce innovative, interesting and effective lessons to my students.
I have a range of personal interests and feel that my open personality allows me to build a great rapport with people of all ages.
During my time as an University student studying Welsh with Spanish, I leaped at the chance to teach English abroad for a year in Galicia, Spain, and I am currently teaching my first language, Welsh, in a secondary school.

Availability: Evenings: 5pm onwards (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
Weekends: Anytime Saturday & before 6pm Sunday.

Experience: As a secondary school Welsh teacher I am passionate about my language and the success of my students.

Helping students improve every aspect of their language in order to achieve the grades they deserve is a daily aim of mine - whether it be grammar, oracy, written expression or confidence with use of the language in general.

I teach every level of KS3, including the Welsh First Language GCSE syllabus (Higher Tier, Foundation and Entry Level modules for both Literature and Language GCSEs).
Included within the syllabus are modules such as Language, Reading and Comprehension, Novel studies, Poetry Appreciation and Comparison, Drama studies, Coursework and Oral Examinations (Opinion, Literature Appreciation)- all of which I am happy to teach.

I am also familiar with the Second Language Welsh GCSE syllabus and I would be prepared to offer lessons for this also.

I am prepared to offer structured, formal tutoring sessions, or simply confidence building sessions for those who wish to feel at ease with their Welsh skills - My sessions will be tailored to the students` preference and needs.
