Hello! I`m Will and I am a friendly, personable, and enthusiastic tutor with a passion for science. I hold two science degrees (MSc in evolutionary biology from Imperial College London, BA Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford) and have over 5 years experience helping students of all ages with their studies in biology, chemistry and physics.

I am committed to improving the learning of students who are aiming for the highest grades, struggling with work, or simply striving for a greater depth of understanding in their subjects. I offer lessons in science at all levels, in addition to personal statement help for university applications and Oxbridge interview practice and advice. I know what it takes to be admitted to study science at Oxbridge and have worked with current Oxford senior tutors at outreach events, giving me a deep knowledge of the admissions process.

I am able to offer:
-Regular tutorials for students to improve and engage in subjects, including exam preparation.
-Personal statement help for university applications, particularly for science subjects.
-Oxbridge application help and advice, including interview techniques and practice.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Experience: I have been tutoring science students for over 5 years with considerable success. My extensive contemporary scientific knowledge and good understanding of the current educational systems has allows me to tailor my services to each individual student so that they can get the most out of our sessions according to their personal goals. I have taught GCSE/A-level/IB science subjects, along with experience in helping prospective university applicants with personal statements and interview practice. My degrees were largely taught in a concentrated tutorial format and I have been subject to countless one-on-one or one-on-two lessons from leading biologists. These lessons have allowed me to understand what elements are required to make a good and useful tutorial for a student.
