I am a tutor with over 450 hours of experience teaching economics and maths. I have predominantly focused on economics teaching GCSE, A-Level, IB, Oxbridge Admissions, and degree level. I have proven results with seven out of 10 students who have been examined achieving A*s, the other three achieving A`s. Two of my students have also achieved offers to Cambridge for economics and I have a rigorous program for Cambridge admissions for economics - 2 out of 3 students have achieved offers. I was awarded three academic prizes at the University of Cambridge for Economics and a first-class degree, further displaying my ability to understand and therefore teach economic and mathematical content. I am excited to help any enthusiastic students who wish to learn economics!

My approach to teaching is quite simple. Assignments are set prior to teaching and rough answers should be prepared beforehand. We then discuss the questions in the lesson and following the lesson a full set of answers are written by the student and subsequently marked. These questions will initially be testing conceptual understanding and encouraging personal research and case study. After a firm grip on conceptual knowledge has been shown, I move to exam questions so that the student can begin to apply his knowledge to the specific questions he will face and improve her/his exam technique.
