* English, Maths and Science at KS3 (Y7-Y9).
* GCSE Science
* Biology at A Level and Undergraduate Level.
I have an upper second class degree in Biology from the University of Manchester. I also have experience working in both secondary schools and higher education. I am currently studying for a Masters in Public Health at the University of Warwick.
I understand which concepts students tend to struggle with and can explain them in a clear and straightforward way. I am particularly good at engaging students and helping them to build their confidence.

Mondays: 10am-2pm
Tuesdays: 10am-2pm
Wednesdays: 2pm-4pm and 8pm onwards
Thursdays: 10am-4pm
Fridays: 10am-2pm and 4pm onwards
I offer a free first lesson to all students so that they can get to know me and how I tutor before committing to paid tuition. I charge £35 per hour for tuition for primary school students and £38 per hour for tuition for secondary school students.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I spent two years working as a Graduate science Coach at Blue Coat Academy in Walsall. I taught Science to small groups of KS3 and GCSE students and had a year 11 tutor group.
In January 2016 I began working for the Open University as an Associate Lecturer. Initially I taught on SDK100 Science and Health which is a 60 credit level 1 comprising nine key topics in Health Sciences.
I now teach on three further modules within the STEM faculty; SK299 Human Biology, SK320 Infectious Disease & Public Health and U116 Environment: Journeys through a changing world.

Michelle is very knowledgeable and confident in her abilities to tutor. Her softly spoken nature engages the pupil to work with her, we are seeing our son engage and grow in confidence.
