Hello :)
I am a qualified dentist and tutor students in KS3/GCSE/A-level Chemistry and Biology. In the past I have sat the UCAT admissions test so I am able to help those who need assistance with the UKCAT, writing personal statements and interview preparation for Medicine/Dentistry. I also have a degree in Physiological Sciences and am able to tutor university students/adult learners in topics related to this subject area.
Availability: Available most evenings for online tuition and have had an enhanced DBS check.

Experience: I aim to make sessions as interactive and engaging as possible through powerpoint presentations on the topics you would like me to cover. These can also be used as a revision tool leading up to exams. I sometimes include relevant animations and videos to keep the tutoring interesting and to help those who learn better visually. For those with upcoming exams, I can cover past paper questions and go through the answers using the mark scheme to see where marks can be picked up, however, I always add a couple questions at the end of a lesson to check comprehension and gauge where extra help may be needed. I am always happy to re-explain concepts and am very patient with my students.

Stephanie has been tutoring my daughter for A-Level Chemistry since May 2021. She worked through the summer with her to revise the A2 coursework and they are working together on the A-Level modules now. Stephanie prepares really thorough notes for each lesson and explains the topics in a way that is easy to follow. Her tips on exam questions are very helpful too. She is always there to answer queries. Cant thank her enough.

Stephanie has been amazing! She`s gone above and beyond as a tutor. She`s accommodating to different exam boards and flexible with her schedule. Stephanie is an outstanding tutor, she is professional, organised and really engages with her pupil. She is tutoring my daughter in the run up to her A levels . I have had a couple of lessons now. Stephanie is punctual and communication is great. In advance she gets material together to what you want to go through and what areas you struggle with. She is very polite and definitely recommended.

Stephanie has been fabulous in regard to delivering what my daughter has needed. Punctual, polite and friendly and very well prepared using a variety of tools such as videos, equations and PowerPoint. Highly recommended and importantly, easy for my daughter to talk to and engage.
