Hello :)

I am a qualified dentist and tutor students in KS3/GCSE/A-level Chemistry and Biology. In the past I have sat the UCAT admissions test so I am able to help those who need assistance with the UKCAT, writing personal statements and interview preparation for Medicine/Dentistry. I also have a degree in Physiological Sciences and am able to tutor university students/adult learners in topics related to this subject area.

Availability: Available most evenings for online tuition and have had an enhanced DBS check.

Experience: I aim to make sessions as interactive and engaging as possible through powerpoint presentations on the topics you would like me to cover. These can also be used as a revision tool leading up to exams. I sometimes include relevant animations and videos to keep the tutoring interesting and to help those who learn better visually. For those with upcoming exams, I can cover past paper questions and go through the answers using the mark scheme to see where marks can be picked up, however, I always add a couple questions at the end of a lesson to check comprehension and gauge where extra help may be needed. I am always happy to re-explain concepts and am very patient with my students.
