I studied Spanish with Intermediate French at the University of Exeter, where I achieved a high 2:1, with first class honours in spoken Spanish. I have spent a year living and working in Barcelona, and 10 months in South America. I am an organised yet laid-back professional and in my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading and walking.

I always encourage my students to speak to me only in Spanish during our sessions as I think speaking is a key part of language learning, particularly for students who lack confidence in the language. I will tailor my sessions to the student`s particular needs - whether it`s grammar, vocabulary or exam preparation. I`ll use a variety of methods to teach, ensuring that each session is productive and fun! Having done GCSE`s and A Level`s, I recognise the importance of being able to practice the language through speaking and listening as well as reading and writing.

Availability: I am currently available every day except 10am-2pm on weekdays.

Experience: I have done online tutoring since 2013, where I have helped over 20 students achieve high grades in Spanish. I spent 3 months of my gap year living in Spain, helping children learn English which enhanced my teaching abilities. I also volunteered at a local primary school in Exeter, as part of the Hispanic Society, to teach Spanish to the children at a lunch-time club. I also took part in the `PAL` scheme at University where I am partnered with a first year student who requires support in learning Spanish.
