I have a great deal of experience teaching and tutoring all scientific subjects from Key Stage 3 to post graduate level and have actively mentored students helping them to gain those first vital steps to pursuing their chosen career. I`m an enthusiastic Microbiologist with a real passion for Science. I hold a PhD in Medical Sciences, an MSc in Medical Molecular Microbiology and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry with industrial placements.

Availability: I am available at any time over the weekend and after 5.30 pm during the week. I have my own car and am willing to travel to a convenient location for all parties.

Experience: I have vast experience teaching and tutoring for students of all ages. As a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Ambassador I have passionately promoted STEM subjects specifically as they apply to life science careers by visits to primary & secondary schools and academies.

In addition I have spent several years demonstrating for several undergraduate and MSc Biology and Chemistry courses. I also have many years experience as a Non-Medical Personal Assistant for Student Support Services aiding students studying in the sciences with disabilities through one-to-one mentoring, scribing/reading for exams, note taking in lectures and proof reading of assignments.
